San Diego Farm Animal Rescue
believes in the compassionate treatment of all animals.
We rescue farm animals in need, educate through experience, and advocate for compassionate, sustainable, and environmentally friendly policies. We do not subscribe to any doctrine or ideology but rather serve our community through inclusive opportunities.
San Diego Farm Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, EIN #47-4791606. We provide homes for farm animals in need- creating new lives for animals and their human companions. We believe the connection between animals and humans reveals the true nature of both and humans discover their capacity for compassion. Everyday, our intention is to rescue, educate, and advocate for the ethical and compassionate treatment of all animals and to find forever homes for rescued animals. We offer the opportunity to volunteer at SDFAR or sponsor an animal. Explore our page to learn more!
Animal agriculture is one of the largest, if not the largest, contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, deforestation, water use, water pollution, and environmental degradation. It is important to understand our impact on the Earth and make better choices for our future. Adapting our eating habits is a great way to make a difference. Eating less beef is one way to start. Every choice we make to better our planet will benefit our future.
